With new software applications and advanced technologies emerging daily, it’s vital for the city to continuously prepare and reskill its workforce by enabling basic technical training for all employees with the aim of building core specialized skills to master many of the aspects of their job.

Our managers are constantly looking for new and efficient ways to deliver training with positive employee engagement. Bearing this in mind, plans are being developed to implement programs that will encourage employee participation while accomplishing the city's goals and challenging its workforce both professionally and personally on various levels. This training will develop new ways of doing old tasks, and build core technical skills relevant to their roles within the city; all easily transferable from one job to another.
