Core Guidelines

• Neutrality is Mandatory: City resources (email, vehicles, office supplies) may not be used for advocacy.

• On the Clock vs. Off the Clock: While you have the right to participate in political activities as a private citizen, these activities must occur on your own time and away from City property.

• Informational vs. Promotional: The City may provide impartial, factual information about a measure, but cannot "campaign" for a specific outcome.
