Fairfield’s Director of Finance John Furtado congratulated Accounting Manager Myles Dixon, along with Mike Less (retired), and the dedicated accounting team, for their remarkable accomplishment in securing the esteemed Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) award, the "Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting." 

The preparation of the Financial report is an intricate endeavor, demanding the fulfillment of numerous parameters to qualify for this recognition. Impressively, the City has consistently garnered this honor for an impressive span of over 30 consecutive years! 

Although the ACFR may not enjoy the same level of prominence and allure as the budget, it holds immense significance as a vital document pertaining to the financial well-being of the city. We extend our congratulations to Myles and his hard-working team!
